My Story
My name is Colleen (Wade) Egan and I am an Evanston-based photographer, wife, and mom of three. You will often see their faces gracing this page.
I grew up outside of Kalamazoo, MI, and graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Hospitality Business. In my former life ;) I was the director of Catering at Northwestern, where I met my husband Shea. Then spent a few years in college recruiting and then home to raise my little ones.
During the pandemic, I picked up our old camera, which we received as a wedding present, and started shooting. I've found a passion for capturing children and families in "film". I recognize the treasure great photography can be.
I love to capture candid moments where children are in their element
(whether they are looking at the camera or not...)
My shooting and editing style tends to be soft with bold, sharp, colors.
